What should I do if my Home Protection Scheme cover has lapsed due to non-payment of premium?
You may continue receiving financial protection on your outstanding housing loan through Home Protection Scheme (HPS) by reinstating your lapsed cover or applying for a new one, depending on your eligibility:
| When did your HPS cover lapse or end*? | Next steps |
| Ended 6 months or less | Apply to reinstate your HPS cover online. |
| Ended more than 6 months but less than or equal to 1 year ago |
Apply to reinstate your HPS cover online with supporting reason and health declaration. Your eligibility to reinstate your previous HPS cover is subject to approval. |
| Ended more than 1 year ago |
Apply for a new HPS cover with health declaration. Your eligibility for the new HPS cover is subject to approval and you being in good health. |
*You may check your HPS cover end date from the hardcopy lapse letter (Ref: HPS/Lapse) sent to you.
