Can I request to access a deceased member's CPF account information if he/she did not make a CPF nomination?

Yes. You can request to access deceased member’s CPF information even if the deceased member did not make a CPF nomination.

For deceased members who did not make a CPF nomination, their CPF savings will be transferred to the Public Trustee's Office for distribution to their family member(s) in accordance with the relevant intestacy laws or inheritance certificate (for Muslims).

If deceased member is a non-Muslim

You can submit a request to access a deceased member’s CPF account information. Please note that you will need to provide the Statement of Account issued by the Public Trustee, in your request. You can approach the Public Trustee to obtain the Statement of Account.  

If deceased member is a Muslim

You can submit a request to access a deceased member’s CPF account information. Please note that you will need to provide the Inheritance Certificate issued by the Syariah Court, in your request. You can approach the Syariah Court to obtain the Inheritance Certificate.
