I have an instalment arrangement for my MediSave contributions. Why do I need to continue with my instalment deductions if I am also making monthly contributions as a platform worker?
The monthly CPF contributions made by your platform operator are for your income earned from platform work from 2025 onwards. You will not need to make your own MediSave contributions on these platform earnings, since your platform operator would have deducted and paid the CPF contributions for you every month (see FAQ).
Your instalment arrangement via GIRO is for MediSave contributions on your income earned prior to 2025 (i.e. income earned in 2024 and before).
Hence, your monthly GIRO instalment deductions will continue, as this is for your past MediSave contributions.
If you are facing difficulties keeping up with your instalment, you may reach out to CPFB to arrange affordable instalment plans on your past MediSave obligations.
