Why can't I submit the online waiver application despite meeting the waiver conditions?
If you meet the waiver conditions, there are two reasons that may prevent you from submitting the waiver online:
1. The student is currently in the midst of their studies.
2. The student has completed or left their studies, but the educational institution has not yet notified us of their graduation or departure status.
2. The student has completed or left their studies, but the educational institution has not yet notified us of their graduation or departure status.
In both circumstances, you can proceed to waive the student's repayment through these steps:
1. Revoke the use of CPF for education via cpf.gov.sg/RevocationForm if you have no intention to continue using your CPF savings for the student's current course of study.
2. Waive the student's repayment via cpf.gov.sg/edurevowaiver.
2. Waive the student's repayment via cpf.gov.sg/edurevowaiver.
Upon receipt of both revocation and waiver applications, we will notify you of the application statuses. Please note that the waiver will include the total CPF savings withdrawn and the interest that would have otherwise been earned had the savings not been withdrawn under the CPF Education Loan Scheme. Once approved, the waiver application is irrevocable.
