What are the new outpatient treatments that will be covered by MediShield Life?

MediShield Life has expanded coverage to more outpatient treatments to support the shift in healthcare delivery from hospitals to outpatient and home settings.
 
For instance, MediShield Life will cover Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy which enables patients to receive antibiotic treatment intravenously in the outpatient setting, thereby avoiding prolonged hospital stays.
 
Home Ventilation and Respiratory Support Service will also be covered to provide patients with breathing insufficiency mechanical assisted ventilation in the comfort of their own home.
