How do I pay CPF contributions using PayNow QR?

Updated by CPF
PayNow QR is a quick way for you to make payment for CPF contributions by scanning a QR code, via existing mobile banking apps. PayNow QR allows you to use corporate or personal accounts to pay your CPF contributions. You would have to scan the PayNow QR code using a PayNow participating bank’s app in order for the payment to be processed successfully. Any payment made without using the issued PayNow QR code (e.g. making payment directly to CPF Board’s UEN or changing the details after scanning the PayNow QR code) or multiple payments made using the same PayNow QR code will be refunded with the reference code “CPF”.

The maximum amount you can transfer via PayNow QR is $200,000, subject to daily and monthly limits set by your bank. If your total CPF submission amount exceeds $200,000, you will need to perform another submission via CPF EZPay. For example, if your total CPF submission amount is $300,000, you will need to make two separate CPF submissions via CPF EZPay consisting of $200,000 and $100,000 respectively.

Please make sure you have sufficient funds in your bank account before the payment is deducted. If you have set a PayNow payment limit with your bank, do ensure that the limit is sufficient to pay your CPF contributions. Some banks may charge an administrative fee for each unsuccessful payment attempt.

Personal bank account
On the day of submission, you must ensure that you scan the PayNow QR code and pay using your PayNow participating bank's app before it expires at 23:59 hrs. Once the QR code has expired, you will not be able to make the payment, and will need to resubmit your CPF contributions and get a new PayNow QR code.

After your payment has been made, your payment status will be updated as "Paid" in CPF EZPay almost instantly.

Corporate bank account
Two-level authorisation (Maker and Checker) is required for PayNow Corporate account users. Please make sure the Maker scans the PayNow QR code before it expires at 23:59hrs, following which the Authoriser should approve the payment immediately. Payment received after seven working days from date of CPF submission will be refunded. You will need to make a new CPF submission with a fresh PayNow QR payment.

If the Maker did not scan the PayNow QR code before it expires, you’ll need to resubmit your CPF contributions and get a new PayNow QR code.

After your payment has been approved, your payment status will be updated as "Paid" in CPF EZPay almost instantly.
