Why am I receiving SMSes from the CPF Board with the sender ID 'gov.sg'?

Updated by CPF
The Singapore Government has launched a new security measure – ‘gov.sg’, a single SMS Sender ID to be used across Government agencies. This is to help the public identify authentic Government communications sent by SMSes, and safeguard themselves against Government Official Impersonation Scams. The ‘gov.sg’ SMS Sender ID will be used by all Government agencies from 1 July 2024.
