Generally, you will receive an acknowledgement notification within two weeks upon receipt of your GIRO application form. The notification will indicate the start date of deduction and the monthly instalment rate.

Generally, GIRO applications will be processed within 4 working days for e-application and 21 working days for hardcopy application. Upon receipt of your bank's approval of your GIRO application, we will send a notification to inform you on the approval, together with the start date of the deduction and the monthly instalment rate.

In the meantime, please repay your education loan through "Manage education loan repayments" under "Forms and e-applications".
