Education loan arrears refer to the amount of monthly loan repayments that have not been paid on time. Arrears will form part of the total outstanding loan, which includes the principal amount and accrued interest, that is repayable to the CPF lender’s Ordinary Account. There are no penalties charged for any missed payments.
