Why doesn't the CPF Education Loan Scheme cover postgraduate courses?

Updated by CPF
The CPF Education Loan Scheme was introduced to help CPF members finance basic local tertiary education. Students who have graduated with basic tertiary qualifications have earning capabilities which enable them to build-up their personal savings for further studies. Autonomous universities also have various financing schemes, such as the MOE Tuition Fee Loan Scheme and Study Loan Scheme, to help students pay their tuition fees. Students can also tap on the funds in their Post-Secondary Education Account for fee payment if the course is eligible.
