The CPF Education Loan Scheme was introduced to help CPF members finance basic local tertiary education. Students who have graduated with basic tertiary qualifications have earning capabilities that enable them to build-up their personal savings for further studies. Autonomous universities also offer various financing schemes, such as the MOE Higher Education Student Loan, to help students pay their tuition fees. Students may also draw on the funds in their Post-Secondary Education Account for fee payment, provided  the course is eligible.
