What should I do if there is a change in payer for my tuition fees under the CPF Education Loan Scheme?
If there is a permanent change in CPF lender (CPF member whose CPF savings is withdrawn), please perform the following steps:
1. Check if the application period is still open for your Approved Educational Institution via Application schedule to apply for CPF education loan.
a) If the application period is still open, you can apply to use the new lender’s CPF Ordinary Account (OA) savings by submitting a new application through "Forms and e-applications" using your Singpass. The new lender must login to the link provided in the email or the Endorse CPF education loan form, using Singpass, to consent to the withdrawal of his/her CPF savings within 14 days from your application submission. You can check the status of your application via ‘Activities’ section on the CPF website with your Singpass.
b) If the application period has closed, you may apply to use the new lender’s CPF OA savings by submitting this form. The new lender must endorse your application using this form within 14 days from your application submission. Both you and the lender will be notified in writing of the application status.
2. The current lender has to apply to revoke the use of his/her CPF OA savings for your education through the "Revocation Form" using Singpass.
Once we have successfully processed the application to use the new lender's CPF OA savings and revoked the usage of the current lender’s CPF OA savings, the next tuition fees payment will come from the new lender's CPF OA. Otherwise, we will continue to deduct the fees from the current lender's CPF OA.
Please note that an administrative fee of $10.90 (inclusive of GST) will be charged for each deduction of tuition fees payment from each lender's CPF OA.
