Why is my email address required for the online application under CPF Education Loan Scheme?

An email* with a link will be sent to the CPF lender's email address provided in the application form the next day if the application is in order. The lender* must log in through the provided link or the Endorse CPF education loan form in the CPF website, using his/her own Singpass, in order to approve the withdrawal of their CPF savings for your tertiary education. Hence, providing a valid and correct email address is important. 
 
If the borrower provides an incorrect email address in the online application form, the borrower will need to cancel the initial application. Once their cancellation request has been processed, they will need to submit a new application with the correct details within the specified application period.
 
*This is not applicable if you are applying to use your own CPF savings for the tuition fees payment.
