The nominee should ask for the discounted Singtel shares to be transferred to his Central Depository (Pte) Ltd (CDP) account if he wishes to sell the shares at a certain price.

From April 2022, if the nominee wishes for the shares to be transferred to his CDP account, he will need to instruct us within six weeks from the notification of the member’s death. If we do not receive any instructions from the nominee within six weeks, we will sell the shares. The sale proceeds will be disbursed to the nominee, together with other nominated CPF monies, in cash. Find out what are the conditions under which we would sell the deceased member's discounted Singtel shares.
