Can Muslims nominate a non-Faraid heir to receive their CPF savings after they pass?

Updated by CPF
Yes. According to a fatwa by the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Muis), CPF nomination is a valid form of hibah (gift). You may thus nominate whoever you wish, non-Faraid heirs or even legal institutions for charitable purposes.
