Why have I received a notice from the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) informing me that I owe MediShield Life and/or CareShield Life premiums?
IRAS is authorised under the MediShield Life Scheme Act and the CareShield Life Scheme Act to carry out enforcement actions to recover MediShield Life and CareShield Life premiums.
The amount stated in IRAS' notice includes any outstanding MediShield Life premiums, interest and penalties as at the print date.
You should pay your outstanding premiums by the deadline indicated by IRAS to avoid further enforcement actions or apply for assistance to help you pay the premiums. Find out more on the payment options.
