Updated by CPF
Your exemption may be rejected for the following reasons:

  • Your share of the exemption and your co-owners’ share of the exemption/Home Protection Scheme coverage adds up to less than 100%.
  • You have applied for exemption using private insurance policies from multiple insurers, however we did not receive all your applications from your insurers within seven calendar days from the date of receipt of the first application submitted by one of your insurers.
  • Your property address provided by your insurer(s) does not tally with our records.
  • We do not have your housing records as you have not previously used your CPF savings for your HDB flat at the time of purchase or for your monthly housing instalments.
