Can I use the monies in my CPF Special Account to pay the annual renewal premium for my Home Protection Scheme cover if I do not have sufficient savings in my CPF Ordinary Account?
Home Protection Scheme premiums can only be paid from the savings in your CPF Ordinary Account, and not from your CPF Special Account (SA) savings. The SA savings are meant for retirement needs as they may be the only source of funds that members can turn to for financing their living expenses in old age.
