What is Home Protection Scheme?
Home Protection Scheme (HPS) is a mortgage-reducing insurance that protects you and your loved ones from the risk of losing your HDB flat in the event of unforeseen circumstances like death, terminal illness, or total permanent disability.
HPS is designed to ensure that your loved ones can continue to live in the flat without worrying about the financial burden from any unforeseen circumstances. It insures members up to the age of 65 or until the housing loans are paid up, whichever is earlier. As a member, you will be covered until the age of 65 or until your housing loans are fully paid off, whichever comes first.
