Can I voluntarily refund a portion of the CPF savings I used for my property?

Updated by CPF
Yes, you can apply to make a voluntary housing refund of any amount up to the total CPF principal amount you have withdrawn for the purchase of your property and the accrued interest. You can check the amount available for voluntary refund in the “What happens if” section on your Home ownership dashboard.

Generally, your partial refund will first be used to reduce the principal amount withdrawn for your home. Any remaining amount, after the principal has been fully reduced, will be used to reduce the accrued interest on your housing withdrawals.
