What supporting documents will I need if I'm making a first-time CPF transfer to my loved ones?

For first-time CPF transfers to your loved ones, you will need to submit the following supporting documents in the top-up application.

Spouse

Marriage certificate, if your marriage is registered overseas

Parent(s)

Your birth certificate

Grandparent(s)

Your and your parent(s)’s birth certificates

Sibling(s)

Your and your sibling(s)’s birth certificates

Parent(s)-in-law

Your overseas marriage certificate* and your spouse’s birth certificate.

Grandparent(s)-in-law

Your overseas marriage certificate, your spouse’s and your spouse’s parent(s)’s birth certificates

 
*Not required if your marriage is registered in Singapore
 
Supporting documents are not required for cash top-ups.
