We understand that some self-employed persons (SEPs) may be facing financial difficulties and may not be able to cope with Contribute As You Earn (CAYE). Thus, if you do not have outstanding MediSave payable or are contributing via GIRO instalments, you may set your CAYE contribution rate to 0%. This means that you’ll receive your service payment in full, and CAYE contribution will not be deducted from your service payment. Please write to us if you wish to apply for a 0% CAYE contribution rate. CPF Board will assess your eligibility and inform you of the outcome in writing.
