Can I apply for a licence/renew my licence if I have outstanding MediSave payable?

Licensing authorities will only process your licence application/renewal if you have an active GIRO arrangement with the Board to settle your MediSave payable via monthly instalments or have fully settled your MediSave payable.

  • To make your MediSave contributions via monthly instalments, you can request an instalment plan via the Manage your MediSave payable form. You will be cleared for licence application/renewal two working days after the first successful GIRO deduction. GIRO deductions take place on the 25th of each month (or next working day if the 25th is a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday). Please allow two working days after the GIRO deduction for the amount to be credited to your MediSave account before proceeding with your licence application/renewal.
  • To make your MediSave contributions in full, please use the Manage your MediSave payable form to make your contributions via Paynow. The transaction will be processed almost instantly and you will be cleared for licence application/renewal thereafter.
To check your outstanding MediSave payable or your eligibility for licence application/renewal, you may log in to the Self-employment dashboard using your Singpass.

Refer to this guide for step-by-step instructions on retrieving information on your eligibility for licence application/ renewal.
