Do I have to submit the employee(s) bank statement(s) if I have already indicated the bank account details on the application form for refund of CPF contributions paid in excess?

To better protect employees from scams, we will only accept bank accounts where CPF Board is able to perform automated bank account verification with the bank directly. This ensures that payment will only be made to a bank account belonging to the employee.

If your employee(s) use DBS Bank Ltd (DBS), Post Office Savings Bank (POSB), United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB) or Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Ltd (OCBC), you do not need to submit any supporting documents for the CPF refund application.

However, if your employee(s) are using any other banks’ accounts, the refund will be made via cheque.
