What should I do if I fall prey to a malware/phishing scam?

In the unfortunate event that you fall prey to a scam, we recommend taking the following actions immediately:

  1. Alert your bank to freeze the affected bank account.
  2. Reset your Singpass password if you think your Singpass has been compromised. For further assistance, please contact the Singpass Helpdesk directly.
  3. If you are 55 and above, activate the CPF Withdrawal Lock under Account settings to disable online CPF withdrawals instantly.
  4. File a police report and provide all details.
