Isn't it against the law for CPF Board to reveal a member's personal details publicly?

Members’ data are safe with the Board and there are high standards in place to prevent its unintended disclosure.

Where it is in the public interest, the law allows the CPF Board to release a member’s personal details. For example, where misleading information is put out and widely disseminated, we must be able to provide the public with relevant facts. This approach applies to all public agencies. It helps the public gain a fuller picture of the case and counter the misinformation, both of which are necessary to maintain the trust placed in public agencies.

CPF Board is committed in ensuring your data is protected. You may refer to our privacy statement for more details.
