Updated by CJC Students who intend to offer combinations with two H2 Sciences are assumed to have knowledge and understanding of both relevant science subjects at O-level, either as a single subject or as part of a Combined Science course. This means that students are expected to have learnt the set of content knowledge as part of a corresponding subject at the O-Level and this will not be taught but is needed in the course of learning the A-Level syllabus.
Please also take note of the indicative grade cut-off for our current students for the relevant Science subjects.
The College adopts a merit-based allocation process for the selection of students for the subject combination they have opted for, taking into consideration the number of applicants and the number of places available for each subject. In the event that a subject is over-subscribed, students will be selected based on academic merit based on
(i) L1R5 raw aggregate score (excluding bonus points) or equivalent; and
(ii) performance in the relevant subject(s).
Refer to CJC website for subject combination and criteria.
