CJC has a wide list of 1st CCAs to cater to students' interests and talents.  All CJCians must offer one of the main or 1st CCAs in the college. The majority of students in CJC focus on their main 1st CCA which will have 1-2 weekly practices with annual competitions to sharpen their skills and talents.

A small group of students opt to offer a 2nd CCA (Rugby, Genesis or Ultimate Frisbee) given their keen interest in these areas and as a platform to play the associated sports recreationally or in the case of Genesis, to strengthen their Catholic faith. These 2nd CCAs are less intensive in nature (e.g. one practice per week), and are recreational in nature.
