How do I cancel a recorded IDERA or CDCL with CAAS?

Updated by CAAS

a.  The cancellation process varies depending on whether you’re cancelling an IDERA or a CDCL:

       i.      For IDERA cancellation:

- Use Form: CAAS-IIAE-1-03 (IDERA Cancellation Request Form)

- Cancellation of an IDERA must be made by “the authorised party” under the IDERA.

  ii.      For CDCL cancellation:

- Use Form: CAAS-IIAE-1-04 CDCL (Cancellation Request Form)

- Cancellation of a CDCL must be made by either “the authorised party” under the IDERA or “the certified designee” under the CDCL.

b. When submitting these applications, applicants are required to:

      i. Complete the forms according to the requirements in Advisory Circular AC IIAE-1.

ii.     Include supporting documentation showing the signatory’s authority to execute a cancellation of the recorded IDERA/CDCL with CAAS on behalf of the organisation. Refer to AC IIAE-1 for details.

iii.      Ensure that the signatory's name is identical across all documents

Submit the complete application package (forms and supporting documents) to CAAS Flight Standards Division located at CAAS Corporate Office. (Please refer to CAAS Contact Us page for the full address and email caas_fs_ca@caas.gov.sg.)
