Do I need to return the original Certificate of Registration to CAAS after aircraft deregistration?
For digital CoR issued through eSOMS: The system will automatically cancel your certificate when you complete the de-registration process. No further action is required.
For hardcopy CoR issued by CAAS: You must return the original physical certificate to CAAS when you de-register your aircraft.
i. Send the certificate by post or deliver it in person to:
CAAS Flight Standard Division
60 Airport Boulevard
#04-01 Changi Airport Terminal 2
Singapore 819643
ii. We recommend using registered mail when posting the certificate to ensure safe delivery. Please include a cover letter stating your aircraft registration number and that you are returning the certificate following deregistration.
