What are the fees for applying for a Certificate of Registration?

  1. The application fees, based on the aircraft’s maximum certificated take-off mass, are as follows:

    a. Aircraft up to 3,000 kg maximum certificated take-off mass: $55 (flat fee)

b. Aircraft exceeding 3,000 kg maximum certificated take-off mass:

- Base fee: $55

- Plus $6.60 for every 1,000 kg (or part thereof) above 3,000 kg

2. These fees are set out in the Air Navigation (47 – Aircraft Registration) Regulations 2026, Second Schedule.
