You are given a window of 45 days before the expiry of your current Flight Crew Licence (FCL) and Air Traffic Controller Licence (ATCL) to initiate your Medical Assessment to ensure it will be processed and issued on time for the licence renewal.

If you undergo your medical examination earlier than 45 days before the expiry of your current FCL or ATCL, the validity of your new Medical Assessment will begin on the month preceding the current expiry.

If you undergo your medical examination after the expiry of the current FCL or ATCL, the validity period of your new Medical Assessment will begin on the date when the examination is conducted.
