The SPL allows aspiring pilots to fly as the sole occupant in a Singapore-registered aircraft during training through a CAAS approved Flying Training Organisation or a flying club, to eventually obtain a pilot licence such as the Private Pilot Licence or Commercial Pilot Licence.
