Who will need to complete the unmanned aircraft basic training (UABT)?
You will need to complete the UABT, if you are operating an unmanned aircraft (UA) with a total weight exceeding 1.5kg but not exceeding 7kg for a recreational or educational purposes. Upon successful completion of the training, you will receive a UABT certificate.
Users operating UA with a total weight not exceeding 1.5kg for a recreational or educational purposes are also encouraged to complete the UABT.
