Is unmanned aircraft (UA) flying allowed outside of the Unmanned Aircraft Flying Area (UAFA)?

Updated by CAAS 20 found this helpful

Recreational UA flying is still allowed outside of the UAFA. Regardless of location, UA operators should observe safe operations guidelines and must adhere to the prevailing UA regulations.

Please use OneMap to ensure that you are not within the no-fly-zones. You may also refer to this page for more information on the CAAS regulatory requirements.
