What are the requirements to be nominated as a certifying staff of a Singapore Airworthiness Regulation-Part 21 (SAR-21) Approved Production Organisation?
The Certifying Staff should meet the following requirements:
(a) possess appropriate qualifications and knowledge and at least one year of recent quality control experience in a related aviation field;
(b) possess knowledge of the appropriate Singapore aviation legislation. Knowledge of aviation legislation may be demonstrated by passing the CAAS' examination on Airworthiness Administration (L11 or L12) or Aviation Legislation (M10) or by attending L11 or M10 courses conducted by an approved maintenance training organisation;
(c) hold a position in the quality department of the organisation.
