Prior to your application approval by AIC, we recognise that you / your loved one was eligible for the payout. As such, we had provided along with your first payout, payment for the month(s) that you / your loved one were eligible before your application was approved.

[If client insist that he didn’t want to withdraw the auto-commencement months]

You may wish to consider using the withdrawn MediSave Care payout to pay for your long-term care bills. However, if you wish to return this money to your MediSave account, you can make Voluntary Contribution (VC) either to yourself or on behalf of someone else either to:

1. All 3 CPF accounts (non-tax deductible); or

2. MediSave Account only (tax-deductible for recipient only)

VC applies to Singapore Citizen and Permanent Residents only.
