I am born in 1980 or later and am terminally ill but not severely disabled. Can I be exempted from CareShield Life?

As CareShield Life is universal for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents born in 1980 or later, there are no exemptions. As long as you are covered by CareShield Life, you can still receive payouts in the event of severe disability.

The Government will support Singaporeans who are unable to afford their premiums, so that no one will lose their coverage due to financial difficulties.
