INTRODUCTION TO DEMENTIA CARE AND SUPPORT AT HOME

Clients with dementia and their caregivers can be supported with meaningful activities, respite care and behavioural intervention at home.

Trained personnel will conduct home visits to engage clients with dementia, and you may use this opportunity to take a break.

In addition, dementia may cause changes in your loved one’s behaviour, and you may find it difficult to cope with these challenges. There are behavioural management services to support caregivers along the caregiving journey.

SERVICES PROVIDED

Some of the services provided include:

  • For persons with dementia who have behavioural issues

  • Behavioural management services

  • Support for caregivers of persons living with dementia.

  • Provide caregiver education on dementia care and behavioural management services
