The MDW is required to have attended the relevant caregivers' training courses approved by AIC. Employers may tap on the Caregivers Training Grant (CTG) a yearly $200 subsidy (Apr - Mar) to defray the cost of training their FDWs. Alternatively, if the care recipient is admitted to a Restructured Hospital or Community Hospital, you may approach the doctors, nurses or therapists for assistance to conduct the Functional Assessment and complete Section C of the Functional Assessment Report (FAR).
