How to qualify for Caregivers Training Grant (CTG)?

There are a few eligibility criteria to meet to qualify for CTG.

 

Criteria

Description

Care recipient’s nationality

He/she must be a Singapore Citizen or PR.

Care recipient’s age and needs

He/she must be aged 65 and older OR have a disability. 

 

If your loved one has a disability

 

He/ she must:

  • Permanently require some assistance with at least one of the six activities of daily living. The six activities are:

ADLs

(You will need to provide documentation that the care recipient is receiving the grant.)

Relationship with the caregiver

The caregiver (family member or domestic helper) must be the main person caring for the care recipient.

Completion of training

The caregiver must complete the course.
