Do I need to purchase a professional indemnity in order to practise?
It is not a requirement for allied health professionals (AHPs) to procure a professional indemnity insurance. However, it is a good practice for AHPs to have their own professional indemnity insurance, particularly where organisations have no arrangements for professional indemnity. You may wish to check with your employer with regard to this matter.
