What subjects are offered at the Lower Secondary level?

At the Lower Secondary level, students are offered core subjects that offer a breadth of learning. These include:

  • English Language, including Literature 

  • Mother Tongue Languages: Chinese and Malay Language. Students taking Tamil Language attend lessons at a Tamil Language Centre.

  • Mathematics

  • Science

  • Humanities: History, Geography

  • Arts & Electives: Art, Music, Design & Technology, and Food & Nutrition

  • Physical Education (PE)

  • Character and Citizenship Education (CCE): Known as the Montfortian Achievers’ Programme (MAP)
