How does Blended Learning work in AES?

Updated by AES

Blended learning aims to nurture AssumptionKnights to become more self-directed and independent learners. Blended learning days are scheduled for specific dates throughout the semester. These days are primarily asynchronous, meaning students complete their assignments from home, according to their regular timetable. Students who do not have a personal learning device or internet access can report to the school library to work on their assignments.

Student-initiated learning is encouraged on blended learning days. This program allows students to pursue learning in their own areas of interest. Students are encouraged to document this learning as part of a personal e-portfolio, which can be used when applying to higher education institutions.
