Why do Masters programmes not qualify for SkillsFuture Mid-Career Training Allowance, even on a full-time basis?

Courses eligible for Training Allowance are those focused on facilitating entry to jobs with employment outcomes at first instance.  Therefore, post-graduate programmes such as Masters degrees that are often tailored for in-employment upgrading are not eligible.

Notwithstanding this, individuals can still use their SFC (Mid-Career) top-up of $4,000 and SFC base tier to offset the out-of-pocket course fees for eligible Masters programmes.
