Why is the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Training Allowance limited to 24 months over an individual’s lifetime?
24 months will cover more than one bout of full-time upgrading via the SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme and around half the duration of a full qualification programme at the Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL) – whether pursued full-time or part-time at the IHLs. Individuals can decide which type of training best suits their needs.
