What can I do if I’m concerned about using my NRIC/FIN as my Singpass User ID?

If you do not want to use your NRIC/FIN as your Singpass User ID, you can customise it to something more private and unique. Here’s how:

1. Log in to your account on the Singpass Portal.

2. Select the 'Update Profile' icon. 

3. Select the 'Change Singpass ID’' button next to your current Singpass ID.

4. Choose a new Singpass User ID that is not easy to guess and keep it private.

How can I keep my Singpass account secure?

• Keep your password and app passcode private and do not share them with anyone.
