Why should I suspend my Singpass account?
If your Singpass login details have been compromised, malicious actors may attempt to take over your Singpass account and misuse it for fraudulent activities.
In such situations, you should try to recover your Singpass account by taking these steps:
Reset password
Visit Singpass Portal
Select “Services” > “Reset password”
Enter your NRIC/FIN details
Complete an additional security verification using Singpass Face Verification
Set your new password
Update contact details to ensure you receive One-Time Passwords
Visit Singpass Portal
Click on "Use password login instead"
Log in to Singpass using your Singpass ID and new password
At the page prompting for 2FA, complete Singpass Face Verification
Select “My account” > “Update profile”
Update your mobile number and email address registered with Singpass
Note: You may be prompted to perform an additional security verification using Singpass Face Verification.
Regain control and access to Singpass app
Reinstall the Singpass app on your device. The Singpass app can only be installed on one device at a time. Reinstalling the app ensures that you regain control and access to it, should it be compromised by scammers.
If you are unable to recover your Singpass account, please call Singpass Helpdesk at 6335 3533 to suspend (temporarily disable) your Singpass account to prevent misuse.
