What are access arrangements?

Updated by SEAB

Access Arrangements (AA) are extended by the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) to cater to candidates with Special Educational Needs and medical conditions. These arrangements may include the provision of extra time, the provision of a separate room, the provision of an enlarged print for the candidate's examination papers, or an exemption from specific components of an examination.

AA is extended to these candidates because the standardised testing conditions may result in them being given an inadequate assessment of their abilities or being unable to take the examinations altogether.
