Which group of students will benefit from the extension of concessionary period?
The following students who are currently holding a valid school smart card (SSC) / student concession card and whose concession eligibility expires on 28 December 2024 or later will enjoy an extended period of four months of concession extension:
MOE Secondary students,
Madrasah students,
Junior College and Millenia Institute students,
Institute of Technical Education (ITE) students (Secondary & Diploma),
Diploma students from Government/Government-aided tertiary institutions (e.g. polytechnics),
Eligible Secondary and Diploma students from Private Education Institutions (PEIs), and
Homeschoolers.
